If you can offer something unique, that no other website has, then you will have original content for your website. You can start to achieve this by looking up information that would be of interest to your “target” or “niche” market. Start by looking for unanswered questions, and then try to answer those questions. Sometimes it can take a lot of time and research to come up with a solution, but when you do find a solution, what once seemed like non-existent information, is now easily found on your website.
Just because you have figured out a solution, that does not mean that the solution didn’t exist at all, usually it just isn’t readily available on the net. It could be that the information is being taught in seminars for very absorbent costs. If you can develop an ebook, or something of the like, you could be giving people the exact same valuable information for a fraction of what those big seminar places are charging for that information. This is just one valuable technique that my mentors have taught me about.
Also, if you find more valuable information on the same subject, you can always just add to your product, or ebook, and then re-release it as a second addition. This can make you even more money. Usually, the people who origianally bought the first version, will make comments, or ask questions, so all you have got to do is give them what they want, and then resell it to them.
It isn’t hard to come up with new ideas, or seemingly unavailable information, you just need to keep your “niche” or “target” market in mind when trying to find a new topic of interest. You will need to ask yourself a lot of questions, and notice if any of these questions go unanswered.

It’s one thing to write a book, it’s an entirely different thing to write one that’s a saleable, viable, marketable product. Ensuring the success of a book is something even the biggest publishers have never been able to guarantee. Mitigating circumstances, flash trends, and world events will all affect buyer preferences. That said, there are still ways to leverage the sales-factor in your favor and here’s how you do it.
1. Know your readers. We’re not just talking about whether your readers are male or female. You’ll want to know myriad factors about your audience. How old are your readers (age range)? Are readers married, single, or divorced? Where do your readers live (generally)? What do your readers do for a living? What other books/publications do they read? Develop a profile that includes where they shop, what clubs they belong to, etc.
These elements will help you incorporate these aspects into your book *and* help you unearth salient marketing opportunities (i.e., publications and stores).
2. Know your market. What’s the market like for your book? Is there a trend out there you’re positioning yourself toward? Are you reading all the publications related to this topic/trend? Are there any “holes” out there your book could fill? What’s the future for this market/topic? For example, let’s say you’re a fiction writer looking to publish chick lit. Go to any bookstore and you can’t help but spot the cutsie, pink, cartoonish covers. Many thought this trend was dying out, but it has recently seen another surge. What do you know about trends related to your book/topic/audience?
3. Similar books. What else has been published on your topic? Have you read all ten books in your category? If you haven’t, you should. You’ll want to know everything you can about what’s out there and how it’s being perceived in the marketplace. It’s never a problem having a similar topic. When I published No More Rejections - Get Published Today, I knew there were other books out there on marketing. I read them all–then angled my book differently.
4. Getting and staying current. What’s going on in your industry today? What are some hot buttons? What are people looking for? What’s next on the horizon for this topic/audience? If you can’t seem to gather this information through traditional channels, why not survey your target audience? There are a number of places to run free surveys, Survey Monkey is one of them: http://www.surveymonkey.com
5. Follow the media. What’s the media talking about these days? Keep track of media buzz–what they’re paying attention to and what they’re writing about. Delve beyond the front page of your paper to the second or third page and see what’s filling the pages. If you can get your hands on out-of-state papers, do a comparative review. Do you see a trend in coverage? Is there something that seems to be getting more buzz even if it’s on page six?
6. Talk, teach, listen. One of the best ways I’ve found to get in touch with my audience was to teach a class and do speaking engagements. When I was putting together my book, Get Published Today, I found that the classes I taught provided valuable information for creating a great book because they put me directly in touch with my audience!
7. Timing is everything. When do you plan to release your tome? Are you releasing around a holiday or anniversary? Could you take advantage of any upcoming event and/or holiday for your book launch?

Here is the basic rule of every business: you have to sell things to earn money. Salesmanship, or the art of closing a sales, therefore, is of ultimate importance for any business venture. After all, we can’t expect any earnings if we don’t make any sales.
Winning customers is essential for the success of your enterprise. And this is absolutely true for online businesses too. In fact, winning customers online has its pros and cons. The good news is that the entire world is your market, and you could potentially reach more people through the World Wide Web. The disadvantage? The Internet offers a more impersonal channel in our dealings with people, making it more difficult to gain their trust and favor.
So what can you to do then? Fear not, dear friend. As with everything else in life, you should try to accentuate the positives to compensate for the negatives. Here are 5 methods by which you could gain a good number of customers, and keep them for a long and profitable business for you and your family.
1. Always deliver quality goods or services.
There is no better vehicle for our business message than our products themselves. Consistently offering things that are more than worth our customers’ time and money will brand us as enterprises that are committed to quality products and services. This would only serve us well in future dealings with the same clients. Additionally, this would make our clients as advertising vehicles for our business as well, as they would spread the word about the excellence of our service to people belonging to their network.
2. Always try to over-deliver.
People love receiving more than what they paid for. If you consistently give them some extras, their minds would be conditioned to trust your business for future transactions.
3. Provide bonuses.
In addition to the product you’re selling, add some more goods that would perk up the package. Do this in a manner that you will make your customers aware of the value of the bonuses if they were otherwise purchased. This would definitely increase the worth of your product, and such would make it more favorable for a successful sale. Additionally, your bonuses would foster good will with your clients, and this could go a long, long way for future orders.
4. Build relationships.
The importance of building good relationships with your customers cannot be undermined. As we’ve discussed earlier, the Internet is a rather informal venue for personal dealings. So try to humanize your approach so that your customers can relate to you as someone who is more than just a business provider, but also as a friend.
5. Make use of a mailing list.
A mailing list is an Internet marketers number one weapon. By capturing the contact details of people who may not have been interested with their current offer, they will be able to condition the same people for future sales. And this could serve their businesses well for quite a long time, as one successful sale can beget another and another after that. So invest on an excellent autoresponder service and prepare those follow-up messages well. Take good care of your subscriber base, and they will take good care of your business in return.
Winning customers is more than just luck. It entails a lot of strategizing and good planning. Retaining customers involve the same level of commitment as well. In the highly competitive world of online marketing, trust plays an integral role in achieving our goals. Try your best to win your customers’ trust. Take care of it. And for sure, this trust would fuel good business for you for many years to come.

If you are not using flyers in your business you are missing out. Flyers can be used to sell your product, promote your product, promote your services, and in a number of other areas.
Our lease purchasing students learn very quickly the importance of using flyers. Flyers, however, are not exclusive to lease purchasing. They are useful in almost every business I can think of. I’m sure there might be a business out there they don’t work for, but I can’t think of one.
To give you an idea of how we use them in lease purchasing. We use them after we get a property, by making up a flyer with the property characteristics, along with what we are asking for the property and the terms. We will place these flyers in various areas around the property, and we also use them to market in a number of other areas. In addition, this same flyer is faxed or emailed to our networking partners.
We use flyers to announce our seminars to various clubs and organizations. We also have a specific flyer for our seller and tenant buyer do it yourself manuals. We place this flyer in apartment complexes and a variety of other areas to get manual sales.
We have different flyers for sellers, tenant buyers, manual sales, seminars, and properties. We also have a number of different versions of each.
Many times after placing flyers up around a property we just left, by the time we get back to the office we will have messages regarding the flyer we placed.
For those of you running businesses other than lease purchasing, you can also use flyers in your business. Flyers can be used to announce a Grand Opening or the re-opening of a business, the addition of a new product line, basically any number of things. They are a lot cheaper than running a ad, in addition to giving you a lot of space to say and/or show what your business does. You can have a couple thousand of flyers made up and place them on cars in parking lots, or use a mailing service to mail them to a particular neighborhood. You can have another publication place your flyer in with their mailing or you can have someone hand them out. You can mail them to current customers to announce an upcoming event or product. You can put a coupon on them and offer a discount, or dollars off amount.
So what are you waiting for. Do up a flyer and see how it can increase your profits.

It can be difficult, at best, to do business on the Internet.
Okay, you and I LIVE out here. We have grown to rely and trust the Internet. We have friends. We shop, we bank, we do business. We order take out, we even fall in love. We have found ways to do almost all of our daily tasks out here in cyber space. We hear daily of all of the people signing on for the first time.
So how could it be so hard to sell our wares?
Well, it’s the trust factor. Jupiter Communications, one of the leading providers of research on Internet commerce, recently revealed studies that showed 64 percent of online consumers are unlikely to trust a website.
Our customers don’t have the advantage of seeing our trustworthy faces. Getting to know us. Developing a relationship with us.
Then how do we go about alleviating the fears of our potential customers? Here are a few suggestions bound to set you on the right path.
- BE HONEST.
Don’t make promises that you can’t keep, or claims that you can’t back up.
- MAKE THEIR INFORMATION ACCESSIBLE AND UPDATABLE.
Make sure that your customers know what information you gather at your website and what you do with it. If you store profiles at your site, make them accessible to your customers or give them away to update it or make changes.
- HONOR YOUR CUSTOMERS’ PRIVACY.
If you sell directly from your site, it is important that you know, and adhere, to consumer privacy practices. Make sure that your customers understand your secure sales process and that they know what you do with their information (particularly credit card information) after the sale.
- COMMUNICATE!
Publish an ezine or newsletter to help customers get to know you better. Host chats and/ or discussion boards and promptly and accurately answer your Email. (This means that you should actually READ your Email before replying!)
- EDUCATE YOUR CUSTOMER AND OFFER IMPECABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Make sure that they know how to use your product. Offer quick and responsive support and guidance. If a customer has a problem, don’t try to sweep it under the rug! Take care of it as quickly and as graciously as possible. It is a fact that 98 percent of people will continue to use a business even AFTER they have had a problem, if their problem was resolved in a prompt and courteous manner.
- GUARD YOUR REPUTATION!
Stress the benefits of your product over another without insulting the other product. Stay clear of the dirty politics tactics. It doesn’t do much for your reputation.
- OFFER MONEY BACK GUARANTEES,
whenever possible, then honor them quickly.
- MAKE TESTIMONIALS AVAILABLE,
and encourage visitors to check with other customers before they purchase products or services from you.
- BE CLEAR AND COMPLETE WITH YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION.
Include your business name, address, and phone number. Adding names and pictures of yourself or your employees can help visitors feel more confident and comfortable.
How can we alleviate the fears of our potential customers? Trust is something that takes time to earn. But the more you concentrate on your customer service, and the more responsible you act with their information and concerns, the quicker you will build a loyal customer base.
Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither are successful and worthwhile businesses! Give your customers a reason to trust you, and they will!

Everyone who plays with Adsense these days wants to increase their revenues to reach the income level of all the gurus making 5-figure income monthly. This is great, of course, who wouldn’t want to make 5-figures online in 2 months?
But just as all the other online scams promising huge income with zero effort, creating a large Adsense income that will last for years to come does not happen overnight.
The new popular thing everyone is buying at the moment is ready-made Adsense websites. Just go to Ebay and you will find hundreds of people offering complete Adsense websites for 10$! These sites are usually nice, and they sound like the perfect solution for the buyers because the sellers offer a site with 10000 pages for 10$. This sounds good at first! But really, it is not.
Why? Many reasons:
1. DUPLICATE CONTENT
Because these sites are built using articles available in free article directories, RSS feeds from articles sites and blogs, etc. Free content means everyone else has the same as you. The major search engines will not rank your site well if you don’t have unique content, so you will never get good traffic from the engines with this kind of site. Maybe in the beginning, but it will drop quickly.
2. NOT OPTIMIZED
Because you don’t control the content on these sites, the articles are not necessarily optimized for the highest paying keywords. So you will not make the most possible out of the subject of the site!
3. NO MONEY FROM BACKEND PRODUCTS
Because this kind of site is ready-made, you don’t have the personal touch and feel of a site built for the long term. This mean that even though you might make money at first, you will not retain the visitors, they will not come back to the site again and again. This mean you loose a lot of money that you could be making from promoting products through affiliate programs as a backend.
Is there a way to save time when building your Adsense sites? Sure!
Ready-made content is a great time-saver. You must only use it in a clever way!
Here is a way to do it: use it for PART of your site and around it, add unique content you write yourself. This way, the duplicate content ads up to the size of your site, but the unique content will get you great traffic from the search engines!
